Someone out there knows something. Somebody knows the details about what happened, and I ask that you contact me to tell me what you know.
Without getting into the specifics, so as not to compromise the Imperfect Gangsters investigation into what happened:
There was a former mobster turned government cooperator who contacted me in 2018. He said he had information about mob rat John Alite. We spoke, and over the following years, he became an invaluable source. Providing me with loads of damaging information about John Alite and his activities, and invaluable insights whenever I had questions about Alite, for which I was grateful.
But, while I knew this individual also knew things about (now retired) corrupt FBI Agent Ted Otto, who was protecting Alite as he committed new crimes, I didn’t want to push things and ask questions about Otto, and other Agents Alite was dealing with, that he might not be comfortable answering.
That being said— during the Covid-19 pandemic, there came a point where this individual began sharing highly sensitive, dangerous information with me about Agent Otto, his unholy relationship with his close friend John Alite, and prosecutorial misconduct that took place behind the scenes of a tainted conviction Otto was involved with.

We were discussing him doing a public interview with me. However, there were certain things neither of us were comfortable discussing on the phone and we agreed to meet in person in the city where he lived.
The problem: He lived on the other side of the country, and I couldn’t jump on a plane right away. I wasn’t getting on one without getting the vaccine first.
Be as it may, there was only one person with whom I discussed the situation and the dangerous information being shared with me. When I asked for assurances that no one else knew, numerous times, I was assured numerous times, on the phone and in person, face to face, that he was not telling anyone.
Concerned, I asked for these assurances to protect not just myself, but my source, and another individual I will not name here. The three of us could be in danger were it to leak out what was going on.
Then, sometime later, after I received the vaccine, and was about to book a flight to meet my source— I became aware that the individual looked me in the eyes, and lied to my face. Violating my confidence, in a major way. I learned that he told numerous people what was going on and that I was flying out to meet my source. He even told them the new name he was living under and what city he was living in.
To say I was furious is an understatement. Especially when this individual declined to apologize for violating my trust and passed the buck, blaming the person who let me know that he knew, for letting me know. He said, amongst other hypocritical things: “That was Xxxxx’s fault.”
Then, the next thing I knew— the night I arrived in this city to meet my source, on the other side of the country— someone shot him. Someone tried to assassinate him. I sat there with him as he was leaking blood.
It was a crazy, bizarre scene. Or, as the witness later stated: “It was like Pulp Fiction. You stepped off the plane and wound up in a Tarantino movie.”

I have strong reason to believe that John Alite was behind the shooting. But, I do not know that for a fact. Whether or not he was, what I do know for a fact is the following:
The FBI didn’t investigate what happened. Not to my knowledge anyway. They never sought to get a statement from me regarding my being present with a federal witness who someone tried to assassinate.
Without getting into the specifics of what I know— I will just say that it is my information that a certain rogue FBI Agent blocked a proper investigation from occurring.

However— if you are from a certain defense team and want to know what happened— all I can say, is that you had your chance.
In September 2023, the witness who was shot contacted a certain defense lawyer saying he had evidence of prosecutorial misconduct and could help get his client, who was serving a life sentence, out of prison.
Whether or not their client, a reputed high-ranking Italian organized crime figure was innocent or guilty of the charges he was convicted of, I do not know.
That being said— the witness spoke to this lawyer, and then later, to his co-counsel.
But they did not jump at the opportunity to meet with him to discuss the situation in person, which I found shocking. It felt like they were forced to blow him off, due to someone else on the defense team, who was not serving life, shutting down the offer to meet him in person, and hear his information, simply because the individual was a cooperator.
Which sounds nuts just saying it. Who would know better than anyone the corruption that took place with Agent Otto, than a cooperator who interacted with him?
Who Agent Otto tried to destroy behind the scenes, for punitive reasons, due to him speaking up about Otto’s close friend: the disgusting, demented, diabolical mob rat, John Alite.
His information about Agent Otto most likely would have led to court hearings and depositions, possibly leading to the overturning of numerous tainted convictions Agent Otto was involved with.
Whatever the case— after the lawyers declined to take up his offer to meet, in November 2023, the witness sent a letter to their client in prison directly. Telling him to have his lawyers contact him as he had evidence of prosecutorial misconduct and could help get him out of prison.
In the letter, he even called retired corrupt FBI Agent Ted Otto a “cocksucker.”
I know that for a fact, because I am the one who printed out the letter — an excerpt from which is below — and mailed it from a different state than the one he was living in to give the witness plausible deniability should the Feds, and Agent Otto, have engaged in retribution against him.
